The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma are the transcendental thieves. They want to exchange loving devotional relationships with their devotees, the Gopīs. Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma thus respond to the devotional wanting of Gopīs and venture to steal butter from houses of Gopīs. However, although the Gopīs want that Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma steal butter from them, yet they want that the transcendental thieves struggle for it so that they can exchange loving devotional relationship with The Supreme Lord. While Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma want to somehow snatch the butter pot, the Gopīs want to protect the butter pots that they are carrying from the two brothers by surrounding them and locking their way. Either Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma succeed in stealing the butter pots or the gopīs succeed in blocking them completely.
Vaikuṇṭha Vimāna Krida is a race game. The objective of the game is to successfully board the Vaikuṇṭha Vimāna by reaching the Centre the board. Any number of players can play this game. One has to play dice and that decides the number of houses one can move. In order to board the plane of Vaikuṇṭha (Vaikuṇṭha Vimāna), pure and unalloyed devotional service is the only way. One has to also avoid great offenses such as Māyavāda, Guru Aparādha, Sevā Aparādha, Dhāma Aparādha, Nāma Aparādha and most important of all, the Vaiṣṇava Aparādha. One has to also cooperate and help fellow beings to progress towards boarding the Vaikuṇṭha plane. Succesfully passing out, one is assured a seat in the plane by the causeless mercy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Nārāyaṇa.
